Your first meeting is a product review, not a sales presentation. To prepare, we ask for a few facts about your household, your accounts and the income you will need. With them we can show your current PSG and your tax exposure before we recommend anything.
| Intake question | What it tells us |
|---|---|
| Your age and your spouse's age | How long your money must grow, and for how long it must last |
| Planned retirement age | The years left to save and the year income must start |
| Percentage of assets tax-deferred / qualified | How much of your savings the IRS has a claim on (Series No. 2), and your exposure to RMDs and ordinary income tax |
| Retirement income needed, gross of tax | The before-tax amount your accounts must produce each year, so the tax owed on qualified withdrawals is planned for, not discovered later |
| Duration of income | How many years the income must last, which sets how much volatility (Series No. 3) the plan can absorb |
